Bio
Daggnabbit has been a real world musician for over 50 years. He started out as a jazz trumpeter and performed two tours of Japan in the 70's. In 1980, he was hired as extra brass for the BJ Thomas Band, while living in the San Francisco Bay Area where he grew up. Dag has also performed as vocal backup with the amazing Sylvia McNair of the Metropolitan Opera, and under the direction of Marvin Hamlisch.
In the mid 90's he returned to a Conservatory and received a degree in Classical Vocal Music just before turning 40. He spent several years in a classical vocal group and sang in 6 languages, doing all his own translations. As there isn't a huge draw for Mozart arias in SL (grin), Dag sings more modern Pop music and a bit of Rock: from the Beatles to Lionel Ritchie, to even some Aerosmith content. Dag also performs works by Frank Sinatra ,Louis Armstrong and Nat King Cole.
After 10 years in SL and listening to other Live performers, he decided to get into the music scene here for the sheer joy of music. I hope you will enjoy his music offerings.
