Hello there and welcome to my bio. I'm FlorizonaRichD. A newish live player on the SL scene. Learning more and more from the amazing friends I've found along the way here. Thank you!
I started as a drummer in a Color Guard group and moved on thru a bit of marching band but walking by the jazz room discovered the guitar. i still bounce back n forth to the drums but the guitar is my tool mostly. from school and a span with our armed forces I found the joy from making great noise with great people. I got a business degree at the University of Arizona but music was always my relief or release. i played with a few bands along the way and a couple actually did well. A couple crazy tours on the west coast grunge/rock/pop scene. Along the way as I learned more studio related stuff and working with sound in ways that still blow my mind. Always trying to learn more!
Nowadays I like to help build studios and play with as many people as I can. I do session work in the North Carolina area on guitar/ bass/ keyboard. I am the Lead Guitar in TenTwentyThree a band out of Mooresville NC.
Discovering the coolness of Online Playing during Covid has brought me here. I was trying to do live streaming on FB or something and was terrible at setting it up. found help from a friend who opened this door for me.( If you ask I'll tell ya).
I lean a little more to the Rock n Roll AC/DC to Zepplin school but have a softer acoustic side as well. I mix record most of my backing tracks that i play too and try to give the High energy rock show or just pull up a chair and hang by the fire with a blend of feel good acoustic Jams. Thanks for looking.
We only have so many trips around the sun. may as well ENJOY THE RIDE!
